Any credence your post had was completely lost with your last four words:facepalm:

Nice one. I stopped at 2006/07 and thought there was no way there could be two. Cheers

Is Rabbi injured? He was last seen playing in a team of mostly reserve players against Queen of the South in the Scottish League Cup, and was subbed off after 76 mins. No sign of him in the game against Celtic, not even on the bench.

Update: According to Rangers fans on Twitter he had a terrible game against 3-tier QotS. I hope he pulls his socks up, as Rangers have some some terrific fixtures coming up before the World Cup, with plenty of opportunity to prove himself starting on Wednesday against Ajax in the Champions League.

Rabbi named among the 12 substitutes, and Lawrence injured. K.O. 17:45.

As usual, Celtic and Rangers think they're better than they actually are. Both get stuffed as usual on the big stage 😂😂

As usual there is some one who doesn't understand the finances of football .

There is no way Rangers and Celtic can play on the big stage with their budgets ...

They’re the best two teams in their country, it would be folly to completely overstretch themselves financially to try and become the best in Europe. Christ, Celtic are shoving nine on a side away, then four on their nearest rivals, why spend money they haven’t got to try and go further in the Champions League when the reality is they’d fall at the group stage anyway. What’s the reason for saying they think they’re better than they actually are? The both of them, for the league they play in, are punching above their weight in Europe. Or do you think the Champions League should just be diluted down to the four or five clubs who have a genuine, realistic chance of winning it?

Both get near sell out crowds every home game, unfortunately fact Rangers were getting circa 45k crowds recently when in the lower divisions. They should be capable of qualifying from the group stages if they were any good. Both teams think they should compete in the Premier, they would both struggle to get out of our division.

Man City get something like £135m more per season from TV money than Celtic, who get less than £15m per season. Top Championship sides get closer to £10m. Scottish sides don't have the money to compete.

We’ve been through this a million times, if the old firm were playing in the English system receiving the self same money as Premier League clubs, with their following, sponsorship etc, they’d be contenders. If they had to start at the bottom, they’d piss the through the leagues.

top championship sides get a lot more than that, parachute payments (which are effectively TV money) are like 55m

He might not be playing every available minute for Rangers - which players do play every available minutes threaw days? - but to suggest he’s slipped “well down the pecking order” is utter nonsense.
Sadly, he didn't make the squad.
