It might be very early but I'm not convinced Nkounkou is a very good defender.

I don't think it's too early. He's exciting going forward but looks an absolute liability in defense. The effort to get back and cover is questionable too. Might be a decent winger but never a left back in a back four.

Positionally he looks nowhere near an opposition winger when they're crossing and he looks all at sea every time the ball is anywhere near him when City are defending.
