Tell you what mind. Being disappointed about drawing first game of world cup. Not a bad place to be is it!. If England do the box in all 3 games, it comes down to who hammers Iran by the most. I fancy us. Come on Wales !

I think weve got a big advantage. I expect us to beat Iran comfortably and England to do the same to the USA.

Hopefully we go into the England game with a nice GD cushion and put the pressure on the yanks.

Yes Page got it wrong in the first half, but deserves credit for seeing what was wrong and changing it.
Will probably start with Kieffer on Friday and bring Bale on for the last half hour.

I think there’s are a few on here who were expecting us to win the whole thing. It was quite similar to Switzerland in the Euros, not a bad point at all.

Carrying too many players all over the pitch, that penalty doesn’t get Bale off the hook, awful all match.

Page got tactics dreadfully wrong (similar to Denmark game but thankfully USA not as good).

Ampadu was superb. The next Wales captain for me. An absolute beast of a player. Neco played well too as did Mepham who looks much more solid these days.
Ramsey very poor. I don’t think we can play both him and Bale.

At international level Ramsey's well past his sell by date. I just wonder if his 'status' prevents the journeyman manager from dropping him.

I've never seen a manager wait 45 mins to change a team that are playing that bad. We got out of jail here.

Allen would have kept the ball. Allen and Ampadu give a platform to play from. Moore has to play now.

Bale was dire tonight and then came good. Rodon was god awful. I’m not sure if Rambo and Bale can play in the same side now.

You are right . Substitutions after 25 minutes are 10 a penny.

But we know now that Moore upfront is better suited to the players we have

Yep. I cannot see Page dropping him. In the first half their players just went straight past him. He also lost the ball often as did Bale.

It worked because we put pressure on their centre backs when Moore came on. We never troubled them once in the first half, and going down the wings was a dead-end tactic. I thought we could get the better of the USA if we went through the middle with pace, but playing Moore centrally also worked. The first half was puzzling cos we kept on doing the same things that didn't work.

I don't think we will fully solve the midfield problem until the next batch of youngsters come through.
