So why not replace them with youngsters to get some experience of tournaments?

I see you’ve mentioned Luke Harris, well I think he was offered exactly the chance you talk of and turned it down. Cooper’s over there getting that sort of experience and I think Jordan James may be as well.

I absolutely support the taking of Jonny Williams and Chris Gunter and letting them have that on their footballing CV.

Is it all down to Iran being crap or have England been good? I reckon it’s a fair bit of the latter. I don’t think it’s been as warm as many expected it to be at this time of day, but they’ve shown impressive attacking pace - 5-1 now.

Is it all down to Iran being crap or have England been good? I reckon it’s a fair bit of the latter. I don’t think it’s been as warm as many expected it to be at this time of day, but they’ve shown impressive attacking pace - 5-1 now.

Don't get me wrong England have done well, but from what I've seen it's been more of the former.

Iran have been really, really bad. I'm surprised.

Unfortunately, the pundits will go into hysterics waxing lyrical about how they're going to win the tournament now. As would we in the same boat, no doubt
