There's protests, and then there's putting your hands over your mouth. It's a bit like saying look, I'm wearing odd socks in protest. Getting silly, juvenile and trivial now.

In hindsight, maybe they should have been focussing mentally on the actual game, or they could have just stayed at home? All they have succeed in doing is have the whole world laugh at them.

When lining up for the pre-match photo they all put their hand to their mouth to suggest FIFA have stopped them having a voice.

Quite powerful I thought.

Interesting that people think it was a big shock. We have a World Cup predictor league at work, with 32 people in it, 19 people predicted a Japan win & 7 got the 2-1 score line right as well., including me.

There’s definitely a different perspective on world football from being in a different nation. The only two results the majority of people have got wrong are Argentina losing & Denmark not winning.
