Callum Robinson is probably not going to be pulling up any trees for us.
However, he is a reliable forward at Championship level, and will definitely chip in with goals.

Create enough chances for him and he will be fine

Get someone else in with him or play Harris and I think we will do OK

Hopefully Isaak Davies will have a big impact.

Are we going to be under an embargo?

We may need to survive with what weve got.

When are Denham , Adams Bagan going to be fit.

Huge game Saturday. We have to win and a loss would be a disaster.

Id start Harris and play O Dowda left back.

There is clearly an urgent need for new faces

But the chances of money being spent is very unlikely I would have thought

It's either run with what we have .....in this case giving Harris more game time .....or free transfer journeymen or potentials

We could be cut adrift like Huddersfield so things could be worse

            Re: Mark Harris

I think we have a lot of quite similar players in the wide forward areas - quick, hardworking and can have decent moments, but without the consistent skill and end product. Harris falls into this category for me along with Davies (from what we've seen of him) and even Robinson for me looks more natural when he pulls out wide than he does as an out and out striker, although he's got the quality to score a bit more often than the others do.

We are crying out for a more out and out traditional striker who can provide an outlet, I think you can argue as bad as Watters is in the box we looked at our best under Morison in the first few games when he did an OK job holding the ball up at times, and obviously Etete in that role changed the game on the weekend. I don't see Tan giving the money there to buy us a better option permanently but maybe he can get a Hugill like option on a short term loan.

You do hope he'll throw caution to the wind and start Etete with at least one of Robinson or Harris playing off him in one of our winnable games coming up.

              Re: Mark Harris

Seems to be some pragmatic bias (if that's even a thing) regarding Harris. 'He's there so we might as well play him regularly to see if something happens'. He's had a fairly serendipitous time of it lately. If Davies and Colwill had been fit MH would have had much less game time and if the cupboard wasn't so bare for Wales he wouldn't have gone to the world cup but fair play to him. Nice that he got those chances and he's effective occasionally but we're talking about a third choice striker at this level and expecting him to suddenly become a first even though he's been here for years. I hope I'm wrong and it all clicks into place but how long do we wait?

Maybe he can drop a division or two and become an Eoin Doyle type but we won't have paid 750k for him.
