No he doesn't, he's loved in Cardiff Motorpoint in the premier league.

Looks like the witch hunt propaganda machine has taken its toll on Gerwyn.
He is human after all and there is no place to hide up there.
Alone with just his three darts, his own thoughts with thousands of pissed up anti-taffs screaming in his earhole.

I said earlier in the thread that you could tell Sky were muting the crowd because of the sheep shagging chants of last year. Must have been really load up on that stage, the earphones did make me laugh though.

Sky muting the sheepshaggers chants but doing nothing in the arena is not right.We can’t let the viewers hear it but ok for everyone inside.
They shouldn’t have muted it and let everyone have a fair view

I'm sure, but that's something he can affect.

I was looking at it purely from a throwing point of view. There's no way he could throw as well as he can normally while wearing those things - they must have been some sort of distraction, no matter how slight. In a must-win set where, if he gets broken again, the match is virtually over, the timing was stupid. He won 1 leg and that was it. He lost 3 legs on the spin playing average darts and the match was gone.

He's come out and said he's not sure he'll return to Ally Pally. I presume that's just him getting caught up in the heat of the moment, but if things are getting to him that much, he needs a rethink on how he plays the game to get the crowd on his side. I thought for a moment last night that might have happened, but no

Fair points Eric - but I can't see the crowd getting on his side ever- he's the pantomime villain, but I do think it’s a bit naughty booing him when he's throwing, in between throws fair enough but there was loud boos when he was throwing double top yesterday...refferees should do a bit more like in snooker.

I agree that refs should do more. At Lakeside they would have. The PDC are culpable here. They've cultivated this atmosphere.
