I still think Morison would have found a way to get us playing, he seemed to have that obsessive nature for detail which worked for and against him. was always going to be hard to get a new group playing. Hudson had the benefit of them building. Morison has some great moments and awful moments, mostly ego and changing line ups randomly. We lost the ego but seemed less of a plan and few good moments.

All pointless really, both wrong appointments

Who knows what Morison would have done, looking at Hudsons results after the short uplift in those few games it’s clear he hasn’t added anything other than pressing.
Morison wouldn't have got more goals out of this side. There aren't goals in it.

The real guilty party is Tan. These are his choices and they are dreadful. It is remarkable we've managed to have 4 managers since Neil Warnock and they've all got exponentially worse.

I don't doubt we'd have looked a mess under Morison after a while as he scrambled to find a way for this squad to score more goals. Both managers were criminally out of their depth, and it doesn't matter if Hudson is worse when both are so far off the level. They are by a stretch the worst managers in the league this season.
You’ve not had a good word to say about the team since day one though have you.

They're 21st, Bob, and I'm not in the least bit surprised

You know a lot about the game and I’ve been surprised and disappointed by your lack of constructive criticism - basically, all you say is everything is crap.

Walsh is hopeless , Perry is a United fan

Staying up is the one and only consideration - if it's Warnock, so be it.

                    I agree with this.

I didn’t especially like Morison but you could see what he was trying to do. Maybe the players weren’t very good at it but it was clear that there was some sort of plan and it may have evolved if he hadn’t mysteriously got the sack only to be replaced by another novice.

I’m not suggesting for a minute that Morison was any sort of footballing saviour but I haven’t been able to work out what Hudson’s plans were or what the team was trying to do. The only credit I can give Hudson is that his teams weren’t as boring as watching Neil Harris’s teams (without Tomlin anyway) but then again, we are staring relegation in the face….

                    All very strange.

We need somebody with his drive and will to win

We need a man manager to get this team to shape up and run through brick walls

We can worry about pretty feckin passing in the summer

Good post . (I didn’t notice the pressing mind you…)

He absolutely will not make a good manager. For anyone. He's an assistant.

Robinson isn't a lone striker, and Etete isn't ready. I don't think Davies is ready or a lone striker. We absolutely have to sign a centre forward. It was absolutely mental that we are in this position. Sign a left back so O'Dowda can play wide otherwise we will have two very good left backs next season, and we'll be in League one. Robinson, Hugill and O'Dowda could be a decent front 3.

Our midfield is one paced and has no creativity. Play Wintle with someone that can play a bit. I don't know where you sign that player with no money. Losing Romeo is a massive blow as I don't think Ng is good enough going forward to play as a right back and I'm not a fan of his as a centre back. Kipre and McGuinness/Nelson would be my centre back pairing, and keep Simpson as far away from the pitch as humanly possible.

The ball needs to move faster through the lines, under Morison we took 20 passes to get the ball into a dangerous position, by that time the opposition has got set and we couldn't break them down. Any team could come here, sit deep and then break at pace. Under Hudson, we've just pressed the panic button.

I would love us to appoint someone who knows what they are doing. Wilder, for example. We should have appointed a proper manager ages ago, and rather than have a squad of 30, I'd much rather a 22 man squad with a talented manager. I don't care how much you have to pay to get them, a manager makes a tremendous difference.

Finally, sack literally everyone involved in this summer's transfer window and the coaching staff. They are dire. Who has kicked on in the past 18 months? Every one of our players has stood still or got worse. Take Bagan and Colwill, for example, I genuinely think they are poorer players than when they broke through.

Also, gun to my head, with this side I think I'd play 3-4-1-2

I'd play Allsop; Kipre, McGuinness, Ng; Sang, Rino, Wintle, O'Dowda; Robinson; Davies, Etete.

Obviously Romeo comes in if fit and the middle two basically defend. I think Sawyers has been dire so far but perhaps you could try him in a holding role instead of Rino.
