  • Basic House Sensor Alarm

I have the stickers up saying watch out this place is alarmed , cameras etc

    It isn't

So they are just a deterrent, as is the dummy flashing alarm box

I am looking for a sensor movement alarm I can put up in the hallway of my pokey little house so if someone does break in if I am out it will let out an almighty din if they activate it ?

Simple to install as I am think as feck

I'm looking to change my alarm. Yale seem to be amongst the best. Something like this is probably what you are describing, they also have a "smart" home alarm alternative.

I'll probably go for a Ring Alarm as I've already got the doorbell mentioned above so it makes sense to have everything on the same system.

One other thing. I'd recommend buying an alarm around amazon prime day, black Friday or in Christmas sales. The prices plummet.

Reading between the lines I think he wants something to alert him about people escaping rather than breaking in!

He's trying to keep the granny's on lockdown.
                    Don't fall for it.
Sludge, if a slice of yesterday's pizza and a drop of cheap wine won't cut it, you're going to have to make more of an effort sonny.
And I don't mean pinching next-door's daffodils either.

I'd have a deal of sympathy for any burglar tiptoeing around Sludge's gaff by torchlight with such slim pickings to be half-inched. Would be worse in daytime when he'd probably wonder whether the interior had ever featured in a charity appeal advert.

The poor dab would need to search for a good 15 minutes to find anything worth slipping into his swag bag.

The problem here is that he wants a loud alarm in his hallway but someone would have to break in first before the alarm activates.
