Funnily enough how would you know families were not seeing each-other, or breaking the odd diktat, you’re just guessing. No doubt you kept an eye on those potential rule breakers.

      Where’s the democracy in that?
Considering how high profile this policy implementation is , and the fact that it’s already cost around £33m in infrastructure upgrades , it was hardly the main talking point of the Labour Party manifesto and most people were surprised when it was announced.

It was brought in through the back door.

Well, I spent much more time sat at my desk top computer in a room which looks out onto a field my back door opens onto during lockdown. Today, there will be a continuous flow of people walking their dogs in that area, during lockdown there was hardly anybody - as I said, history being rewritten to suit an agenda.

Anyway, you’ve spent three years and more going on about how the authorities handled Covid, why bother getting so worked up about it if you know most people were taking no notice of lockdown rules?

Is there anyone who thinks this change of speed should have been a higher priority than using the money and doing something different that really mattered, like improved NHS treatment for specialist cancer treatments or children's transplant improvements or improved social care for the disabled or elderly, or anything else the Welsh public could have got behind and been proud of?

I'm sure you could find something that would save way more than 10 lives with that amount of money.

People stopped walking their dogs during covid (not bullying, genuinely laughing)

If true that must be one weird place, and not like the rest of the UK.

                    a) modify the timetable, keeping the current frequency, which would mean using 4 more buses and drivers, all of which would need to be funded by the fare payers, or

                    b) modify the timetable, reducing the frequency of the service to keep costs the same, or

                    c) do nothing, ignorance is bliss

Either way the operator is going to annoy passengers by raising fares, having less buses or having late running services. If one motive behind 20mph is to get more to use public transport, theres a problem with it.
I had the joy of using stagecoach buses about a month or so ago.

I can tell you that late buses are not new or down to 20mph in my experience.

In waiting for one bus to turn up, two were cancelled and what would’ve been a half hour journey (yes even with 20mph) by car took over two hours. Also missed the connecting bus because of the cancellations.

I was told it’s down to not having enough buses and drivers, which you’d think are the two key things you need for a bus service

Not going down the Emotive road with that one, Eh? Looking after the fit and healthy are also good policies as well. They have long term benefits.

Clearly missing the point again. Did you manage to fill your little black book , seems like you may have self appointed yourself as a government deputy during this time

Perhaps that’s what is in your carrier bag

Drove to Swansea this morning. Id say journey again longer by seconds.

However first time ive driven in an area where the road signs are a feckin shambles. Drove for about a mile past a 30 sign only to come to another 30 sign with on the back of it a 20. The road I was on was a 20 but the sign changed only 1 way.

Didnt see a speed camera but id appeal if ticket incoming.

Lobby your party in Westminster to provide the funds.

confusing for a while , i had an instance yesterday my dash went down to 5mph limit a blip maybe and stayed like it for about 200 yards other than that its not any change as far as i can tell with most roads the same off the residential areas
