If I drank alcohol it would be time to give it up ?

That seems reasonable but still extortionate in reality

£11.20 in spoons, luckily the office is being relocated to the centre of town soon so will be spoons after work, and the buss pass home, the food was expensive for pub grub so will be a win win especially with over 2 hours removed from traveling time

Arches is the closest pub to my house, either way I go, there or towards city centre it’s around £6 a pint. Wife loves Gin but it’s ridiculous what they charge for it out, she bought a whole bottle of Bombay blue in duty free for less than those two cost you Heath….

You can't have a wank in pubs. Far better and easier to drink at home.

A 10 can fridge pack of Madris or something is about £12 so two pints or 10 at home? It’s sad really that pubs are now generally for the well off when they used to some respite for the working man after work, and I guess they still are as plenty of tradesman I know will pop in one or two eves a week about 4.30 for one or two. I guess if your earning about £150-£250 a day it’s quite do able. I can’t quite imagine, no job, no money, never go out and socialise?

Why do you go on about wanking all the time? Is it some long standing joke on here I missed which I’m hoping is likely, or are you just unhinged?

Newcastle Brown Ale , about 2 quid a bottle

That's good to be 5 quid at least in a pub

So 2 bottles in the pub , 5 at home

Drunk at home , merry in the pub

And it's 5 quid cheaper too

                              The pub has had it

Unless it does food or is a refuge for the alcoholics like wetherspoons in Bridgend

It's a leftist thing, these Rigsby types aren't very attractive to the opposite sex.
