For me, wing is just something added to a word to continue to drive hate between different factions, let's be clear here, spineless Eric has used it in the context of calling people racist, but he's got no bollox, his innuendo is very clear when you look at his posting history. I dislike most politicians and gravitate towards different politicians on different days and different issues, WB has mentioned, it's a uni party and IMO he's correct.

I note in the Tory graph today, a millionaire is leaving this country every 24 hours, the politics of hate and envy is reducing this countries tax take, why not set a higher tax band for high earners but not a level to make them want to leave the country, is this right or left wing thinking ?

A higher tax band for higher earners is 'left'. Angst that rich twats will take their ill-gotten gains to a different jurisdiction where they will pay less tax (as if they don't anyway) is 'right'. How we missed Phil Collins! Describing a desire for redistribution and equality as 'the politics of hate and envy' is capital letters 'RIGHT'.

You are just doing what you are accusing others of doing with the 'politics of envy'. It's pretty easy to make a case for higher taxes on wealthy people without it coming from a place of envy or hate.

We want better housing
We want a better health service
We want better social care
We want better transportation services
The UK via immigration is growing annually at approx. the size of Manchester
etc.

some thing has to pay for for all the above and more!!, I have no idea if the Tory graph is right but IMO, the country shouldn't be making our wealthy look outside the UK to live and stash their wealth, taking say 35% of a million is better than taking 60% of F/All
Not by choice but i've only ever worked for wealthy entrepreneurs my current and what will be my last employer falls into this bracket i don't begrudge them or any previous employer having a lifestyle that most of us would like if being honest, these entrepreneurs, provide a backbone of employment to those who would never want the responsibility of running a business are prepared to turn up for 40/60 hours per week, do a job and get by O.K, i'm reasonably sure my views on individuals having billions wouldn't be far from yours (when my current employer bins me, tomorrow, next week, next year i have no idea when it will be) i've promised Doris that i'm going to call it a day and put my feet up i rarely keep my promises though!!!

Phil Collins, great drummer but ruined Genesis, he did write however, a great song called Driving the last spike, (we can't dance album) his lyrics in this song are stunning and all about working men & women!!!

WE could always Drill baby Drill to generate a bit of extra wonga, but all poiticians (all badge colours) would only divide it it out amoungst themselves.


Not sure if you know who this journalist is, but the Q people are anticipating big things because she posted this today she was featured in the Q posts a couple of times.
