Well Labour have had getting towards two days now to get their side of the story out and Ive not seen or heard anything yet on that front - maybe they’ve decided they don’t need a Director of Communications after the last one resigned?

Yeah I was looking for a Burnham take on it as I tend to trust his ability to be diplomatic when required but honest, and also this is a particular interest of his and I couldn't find one.

Won't get any arguments from me about the completely shit Comms from number 10, but that seems to be with or without a director of communications. I think it's pretty clear from the last 10+ years (including this 9/10 months of labour) that whatever the government, number 10 is filled with sneaky little limpets who attached themselves to the right boat but don't offer much.

It's laughable that despite this new government being poor you can't even accept that they have reduced NHS waiting lists ....apparently , maybec, whatever etc etc ....and you still cling on to your tory boy habits

One thing you’ll get from us on the “far left” is honesty as far as Labour is concerned - it’s not like the blind devotion you get from those on the other side of the fence. Truthfully, I had very low expectations regarding Starmer pre the election, but I’ve been shocked as to how I can find virtually nothing I can relate to him about - he’s a football fan I suppose, but it’s a struggle after that, I honestly can’t see how he ever joined the Labour Party in the first place.

No, you listen to me. I posted my thoughts on Keir Starmer which contain some pro's and con's. Everyone else just criticised him. Aside from the preposterous nature of that leading you to call me Tory boy and "Right wing" it's the insults that follow that fk me off. It's completely illogical and toxic.

You did this on the other thread where I posted a BBC article saying the US was negotiating with Ukraine and Russia. An unequivocal fact and a more anodyne article you couldn't find. For that I ended up getting 16 (sixteen!) entirely unrelated personal insults. Now I have half a dozen more here just a day or two later.

It's totally unrelated to the topic at hand and way beyond normal and it's borderline harassment tbh.

Stop it or I will have no issue whatsoever asking for you to be banned again as you just make this place entirely toxic and unwelcoming. Robust debate is one thing, we all enjoy that but offering nothing but insults is quite another.
