You’re right to point out that the numbers supporting them are still pretty small and i don’t think anyone would be batting an eyelid if such figures were recorded for, say, the Greens or Plaid Cymru.

    However, one thing I’ve learned in the past decade is the degree of the media’s fascination with the far right -it’s there in the mainstream media, but I find the internet and places like what I’ll always call Twitter really concerning given the lack of regulation on there - we’re creating a real hornet’s nest, not just on the right, and nobody can say with any confidence how it will pan out because we’ve never been here before.
    I can't see pollsters coping well with an influx of previously non-political youngsters suddenly voting reform, the models aren't built for a shift like that. If Reform somehow managed to get 30% of 18-24 year olds that are actually likely to vote, that's still historically feck all votes. I think the infighting is having an effect on their numbers, sacking off Farage and opting to go on without him would possibly be the death of this iteration of the ukip/Brexit/reform grift and they are running out of words to use.
