I dont normally vote in these elections.

However I have a horrible feeling the far right will be either in power or in a position of real influence so if they are in at least I know I've done my bit to try and keep them out.

Id like to vote for an independent tonight who I believe would do a good job representing us. However I think the best chance of keeping Reform out is voting Plaid Cymru.

I have a horrible feeling that all central and to the left candidates are going to be split leaving in Reform. I think the Tory vote is irrelevant.

But now they are a waste of time , scrambling for votes with the greens in England and with Plaid and Greens in Wales
A right shame, I always voted for them but now it seems like a wasted vote. In saying that my hand written like letter from mr berman is trying to tell me otherwise yesterday. We always swing between left and right on centre ground getting nowhere yet there is a party right in the middle that no one votes for. They need another paddy pants down to get the party going……

I see Reform as a protest vote but they won't get too many imho. The vast majority of Welsh will blindly vote left wing parties, even after 27 years of mismanagement. We'll be fine (if you count another left wing party slowly turning us from a developed economy into a developing one as being fine)

The only upside is that the electorate now has real choice.

It’s all just protest voting, aliken to the last election with plenty of Labour voters now saying they are ashamed to have voted for Starmer and co…if Plaid get in and press ahead with independence I dread to think the state social services will end up in as it’s absolutely shocking already, anyone who has suffered A&E in the Heath will surely know. Our GDP isn’t enough to sustain us the way we are, we rely on Westminster for huge handouts, so how can that work?

It can't work, we all know that. Independence is a dream and nothing more. If Plaid get a mandate to rule Wales, this does not mean the majority support independence, it just means the people want rid of Labour, who have been as bad for Wales as they have for the UK.

I am living in Scotland helping my mum care for my dad and I've never been so confused by an election. The seat I am in has very little prospect of a reform victory so I don't need to try and prevent that. Its essentially a fight between SNP and lib dems here (but probably a comfortable SNP victory) and although I see Scottish independence as very brexitty (all the same arguments and lies from the 'leave' side) and a complete logjam disaster/oxygen sucker for the UK. I can't bring myself to base my vote on that because I'm very unlikely to stay here and it just feels like I'm interfering.

Morning Sludge, just got up and completed my exercises, going back to original thought and am not going to bother, fed up of election rubbish already online so will retire from the internet for the rest of the day and will pop back in tomorrow for the inquest  i'm going to forecast that Labour will get trounced but do slightly better than expected, Reform will bomb a bit today at the polls, i think more are seeing through these chancers and the Farage Grin will not be headline news but the easiest to forecast is that we will see PC backed by Labour sennedd

That's the plan and it's working wonderfully.

The average working class person in the UK isn’t represented by any of the parties up for election today, so for that reason i’m out.
I wont moan about any outcome, as i wont have the right to after abstaining from voting. What i will do though is enjoy the rest of my life with the cash i’ve worked hard for and squirrelled away,
