Re: Jenrick
Why shouldn't the people have a vote on how their country is run and who makes the rules?Originally posted by Dorcus View PostIf your average Joe looks down on the likes of me then he or she are even barmier than I thought and they must be suffering from illusions of grandeur! But my post wasn't about WHY they voted as they did (that's already common knowledge) it was WHY they were given the opportunity to do so in the first place.
What are you, Henry VIII?!

When Thatcher became increasingly potty Major took over
Do you remember calls for a vote on her divisive policies ?
Its almost laughable to hear all these calls for an election or a vote on immigration policy .....where were all these people when Brexit was rumbling ?
We cannot have a situation where the mob decides when and how decisions are made on important issues ff sake 😂

You haven't answered. Why shouldn't the people have a say in who and how their country is governed?
You throw the word fascist around a lot but you are Dorcus are flirting with something far darker here.

He's got a degree !.Originally posted by William Treseder View PostYou are like Sludge. You donÂ’t read whatÂ’s written. Read Heathblues post again, then look at your reply. ItÂ’s gibberish.
I've not been fussed either way regarding Brexit I couldn't be arsed to vote at the time, I've said many times I no longer vote however if we get another vote I will reverse my no vote situation and vote to stay outside the EU because of the typical remoaner like Dorcus, when you want a particular outcome you persuade them with reasoned debate and do not look down the nose as he has a lot of form for on here the whole brexit debate at the time was just one side lying versus the other side lying it was a total cluster ****.

That are a tiny, tiny minority of those who want the immigration situation dealt with properly after yrs of both governments useless attempts.
You as a lifelong City fan should know better.
For yrs, and even now, in certain places, city fans are looked upon as trouble makers, all due to a small section of our support, running riot in the 70’s and 80’s.
You’ve already proved that you are willing to tar everyone with the same brush with your daft and dangerous restaurant arson thread.
Take a break and gather what little thoughts you have is my advice. 👍

Ridiculous elitist position to say that people should not vote on massive changes to effective constitutions about who governs.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostThey do u silly tit
General and local elections
If course we should. Joining the EEC, Creation of the Welsh Assembly, abolition of the house of lords, all these kinds of things, in any country, should go to referenda.

You want to be more careful that the police don't stop you in your cherry picker going down the M4!
BNP had a million votes in the 2009 European elections and two MEPs.
There is no growing threat. What is happening is that people have shifted their definition of the far right so that they can keep on making their same arguments, irrespective of reality or the impact upon vulnerable communities. The demand for racism is in effect greater than the supply.

Thats fascism lite
The reason we had the vote in the first place was because your boy Cameron was running scared about his position
The right now want an election NOW ....they want the airports shut NOW ....absolute chaos and you would be first in line supporting all these nutters ....after years of pretending to be a moderate tory
You never fooled me 😏
Strife and anarchy when it suits you sir
