You keep referring to the “black British athlete and her boyfriend” as though athletes shouldn’t be pulled over ?
My opinion at the time was that they played the race card. My opinion remains the same. Believe it or not, I’m entitled to that opinion.
What happens in these incidents nowadays is lots of drivers getting pulled over by the police (of any colour or ethnic background), are unwilling to answer a few simple questions, and be on their way. They kick off and start filming the incident along with other bystanders and it all gets out of hand.
I know plenty of drivers who’ve been pulled over by the police. I’ve been pulled over a few times. I just react politely, answer any question they ask, and I’m on my way. Simple. If that athlete and her boyfriend had done the same, they’d have been on their way sharpish as well.

I missed this beauty earlier. Fair play, labelling a belief in referenda for major constitutional decisions as "fascism lite" whilst promoting the idea that people are not informed enough to vote in them as being a better stance is quite a take! Really is like going back a few hundred years!
