Re: Zahawi joins Reform
There is no Tory so disgraced, compromised, or politically radioactive that Farage wouldn’t embrace them. His real ambition has never changed: to be accepted by the Conservatives, or ideally to take them over. This latest “recruitment” doesn’t strengthen Reform it humiliates it, and lays bare his catastrophically poor judgement.
He says “he’s overjoyed to welcome Nadhim Zahawi to Reform UK. Few people bring such a rich CV”:
Expensing £6,000 to heat his stables, concealing £27m offshore to avoid £3.7m in tax, and threatening anyone who asked entirely reasonable questions with legal action.
A perfect fit.
Anyone who votes for these charlatans needs their bumps read.

Most of them are at it and you only hear about the ones who get caught. The whips have dirt on everybody to keep them in line, but keep on keeping on if it makes you feel betterOriginally posted by ninian opinian View PostThere is no Tory so disgraced, compromised, or politically radioactive that Farage wouldn’t embrace them. Re: Zahawi joins Reform
Fair point. But other valid criticism thrown at them are a lack of experience, being a one man band, and lacking business credibility etc. Less legitimate criticisms include accusations of Islamobhobia. This helps in all those respects.Originally posted by Eric Cartman View PostThe antidote to the uniparty blows another massive hole in their credibility.
I've always found him likeable, combative. As the dust settles he will be an asset for Reform, but you are right on your point too.
What they would really like is a former Labour MP
