I was of the understanding that other than dodging tax, Zahawi's other notable achievement was vaccines. Farage doesn't have a great opinion of that, either.
It seems to me the whole appointment demonstrates their complete disregard for the electorate, and they've taken a view of "they won't remember it" to everything that's gone before. Which let's be honest, for many, is about right.
The same will happen with their manifesto if and when they gain power.

it doesn’t matter though, they just need enough mainly stupid or angry people to vote for them, or moreover against the *current leadership, and hey presto, they are in. Look how well the BS worked for this current shower, plenty voted for them, but now it appears there support has fallen off a cliff. They must laugh their tits off in Westminster on how gullible half the population are.
