Can well believe his security costs are well above the average MPs, but this is cut and dried isn't it? Either he should have declared it or not?
If you have to declare any personal gifts within a year of election (which is fair enough) and he didn't then he should absolutely face the consequences of the Parliamentary Standards Commission. If he didn't declare it and should have people will rightly ask why not?

I'm not sure the same rules should apply to someone getting you a set of hankies with their initials on and being given 5 million quid. It's unprecedented in that regard and will probably result in rule changes.
There's the did he follow process question and then there is all the other questions that come with a billionaire giving him a shit ton of money and what that is actually paying for. If Farage wants to clear it up he can show how much he has spent on security and how much of the money he has left, otherwise it just looks like buying favours in the future and essentially a bet on him having his hand on the rudder at some point.
Those are two things you could never accuse our Nige of! It must be hard work being a chancer and a grifter.
Dorcus, this just reads as jealousy towards a man from humble beginnings, who attended a state school and was kind to everyone who crossed his path being given a few quid from a mate with no strings attached.
Nothing to see here at all.
Still with £5 million in the bank it could explain why he's not arsed doing the day job in Clacton?

Very easy to see where one could forget about the odd £5 million. Poor dab.
I’m wondering what the doner expects in return, apart from making bodyguards millionaires? Man of the people….indeed.
