That average is boosted by large followings from Swansea, Bristol City , Sunderland , Coventry , Birmingham City , West Brom

Only Pompey and Bristol Rovers will bring large followings

We got the highest gate of the season for Swansea which boosts our average

If you think we are going to average just a few thousand less in league one without those attractive games then I say wait till the season gets going

Nothing is worth relegation , we will take years to recover

I reckon we will be back in 3 years.

            However there are no positives.

              You're probably right.

The entertainment value may rise though? If City stay up we'll be subjected to the ambition of the club to be above the drop zone. If relegated I sort of hope the club would look to get promoted.

I look at City as entertainment now, the emotional attachment long gone and the long term future of the club doesn't worry me at all. I'm a paying customer and the continuous hoof ball and percentage football is eye burning. Relegation? New coach who encourages passing the ball around will be decent.

My kid is the reason I attend games

How long did Sunderland take to come back up? They're far bigger than us.
Portsmouth are still there, may be a few years still.

There are NO positives, most can remember how desperate we were to get out that awful league

Portsmouth and Ipswich thought the same.

                      If it happens it happens and if it does (and I don't think it will) then I will start looking forward to it a couple of weeks after relegation;

                      Reset the club,
                      Hardcore fans only
                      Win some games
Make the club respect fans more
                      Different away days
                      Hopefully push for promotion..

And some smaller clubs come back quicker.

I don't think that is relevant to if we come back up or not tbh

I dont think Portsmouth did. They went into admin.

Most depressing post of the day!
Some of our fans seem happy to accept lower league mediocrity because only real fans will be there and we'll win 'some' games...Jeez!!!

If we're pushing for promotion, the likelihood is that we'll get better crowds than we have this season. That's historically been the case, not only for us but many other clubs after relegation.
