Make the club respect fans more
    Different away days
    Hopefully push for promotion..
"Hardcore" fans only? How can you expect to grow the club if that's the case? What about future generations of fans, are we not going to bother attracting them?
Whenever I used to see new fans attending a City game, it used to make me feel that they can be the future of the club. A lot of our die-hard supporters are in their 50s and 60s.

Also I'd say anyone that bothers to regularly show up or anything more than casually do so lately is pretty hardcore.

We simply don't have that and never really have

You sometimes hear old fellas talking about the big crowds of the past ?

Most of these types are whacked up on sedatives as they are dreaming of crowds that were mostly one offs , not regular attendances
Sludge talking bollux again, surely not, Ipswich crowds were well down for years only really picked last season and this, its because they are going for promotion as Eric is trying to get through to you, think he's right to give up tbh ps sludge gave up in January then he didn't now he has again guys a joke

If the club price the season tickets correctly , and offer free tickets for under 5 ‘s to generate new core support ( like Derby) I reckon we could shift 12/14k.

I reckon teams like Bristol Rovers, Derby, Pompey would sell out the away end and many perceived smaller clubs will bring surprisingly large away followings. Things have moved on in that respect from 2003.

just to back up the above Town in 16/17 dipped to 16,900 17/18 16,200 18/19 17,700 all in the championship first year in lge 1 19,500 then covid 21/22 21,700 22/23 going for promotion 25,800 success brings in crowds division is secondary

People talking about crowds being better if we're going for promotion etc.

Do you see this squad with a few free additions pushing for promotion?

                    That's Ipswich

Cardiff City have a history of poor support

I doubt the 'golden generation' of talent emerging through our ranks would be good enough for even league 1. If we don't go down this season, we will next season.

I think we will be lucky to sell 10 k

Let's hope we stay up !

                          No

                          Not in the championship

                          Where we'll be playing.

you already bottled a proposed bet when you waffled on about 11000 crowds in lge 1 full of shit and boringly repetitious. point above is Town are on a buzz never seen as many tops etc around the place same would apply to us in the same position all fans are fickle to degree

They might turn up but the crowds are going to be right down , even if we are winning

The championship is an attractive league with plenty of good fixtures

                              League one isn't
