Same here, was saying it was cheaper on variable, but I don’t trust it or Putin or Offcom, so I fixed anyway on about £180 a month

I'm about to go on a variable rate unless I fix for the next 12 months. I'm currently with Octopus but a look at alternatives threw up 'Fuse Energy' offering an estimated saving of £15 a month.

Anyone have any experinece or thoughts on switching from Octopus? Or are they still the best.
I don’t think an “estimated” saving of £15 is worthy of a switch? Particularly with some random new company?
I like the fact I can manage my account with octopus easily, they also respond quickly to any message I send them.

I did stick with the tracker in the end. The bills seem to have been cheaper, and I've built up a big credit card that I can use over the winter. I agree that Cctopus is still good for either option.
