It would. But people's opinions about what's good and what's not are much more boring than the Stereophonics. I love music. it's been a major part of my life. So much so that whether or not someone likes what I like is completely meaningless.

Let's be honest, 'The greatest band in the world' is purely subjective,
it all boils down to personal taste.

I've been a fan of The Who since the late 70s.

Nowadays, I tend to ride around the streets of China on my motorbike listening to the Doors and The Velvet Underground.

Velvet Underground's 'Heroin' and the Doors' 'L.A. Woman' being amongst my favourites.

my personal favourite would be the stone roses, with the panics and slowdive not far behind.

However, there is a lot of quality around today, with notable mentions to English Teacher, Damefrisor and Chain of Flowers

If i look at the music and bands which I have been into most, I would have to say that the most influential band on them, and therefore me, has to be the velvet underground. Very underrated as an influential band.

They are one of the most cited musical influences, they just weren't appreciated that much as a band when they were around.

English Teacher are only getting started. I thought their album was a bit too long, and they could have cut 3 of the slower tracks at the end to make it more cohesive, but musically they are quite interesting and they could go anywhere.

I've been fortunate enough to hear the Strereophonics, decide I don't like them and then just ignore them. They're not "a thing" over here. Off the top of my head, I can't even remember the bloke's name.

I can't say I've bought a Fleetwood Mac Album since Peter Green left.
Buckingham/Nicks great musicians but not for me.
Greatest band ever. The Jimi Hendrix experience followed close behind by Cream.
Best live acts I've seen,Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Ziggy,The Stones.Kinks and The Who,

I consider the two versions of Fleetwood Mac as being almost two different bands, such was the change of musical style.
