Re: Trust statement on manager situation.
As a straw poll, our group of 9, of which two of us are over 50+ are split where 2 of them think we need consistency and therefore Bulut should stay
and they argue that he’s done well in difficult circumstances, the rest feel, he’s a one trick pony with only one way of playing
Most of the others are in there 30’s and two a bit younger than that.
I don’t think anyone watching what was served up last year can say they were really impressed with the, tactics, or style that we watched last season, it
If it’s Bulut then the only hope is that he has an alternative approach to each game and it’s not a one size fits all for every game
Players usually play in a system, and that’s the way the coach has decided will produce the best result
The facts are he produced 19 wins out of 46 games
It’s also a fact, that for most of the games it was like watching paint dry
Last season we left early on lots of occasions to head back to the pub
I can’t remember leaving early to many times before last season, in fact I was only joking about a game the other day against Sheffield United around 1977-78 where we were dicked 6-1? and John Buchanan scored our consolation goal and the group I was with still stayed until the end
We have some decent players, but we have a coach who isn’t up to the task imho, and a lot of fans I talk to think along the same lines
If it isn’t Bulut, which big club do you think he will be leaving us for?
