There's no correct grammatical rule for printed/typed writing

I don't know about you, but I've never seen an sort of a professional or academic article in which spaces have been left between punctuation marks such as commas, full stops, question marks or exclamation marks and their preceding words, but I guess there's no law against it.

It is so sad when someone has to turn to put downs "you are a multi" "wind-up" "failing hoplessly". If I want to comment and take the mick out of a seriously silly thread then that is my personal choice

If I do it, and I have no idea if I do or not, then it's probably because I've copied someone else on here because when it comes to Grammar and punctuation, I'm as thick as dog shit, Although I do read loads. Am I a lost cause ?

It’s also pretty sad when someone starts writing differently in a desperate bid to wind someone else up and then calls them a stalker when they get rumbled. But it’s no big deal. I’m bored of you already.

Lots of people on this board do it and it’s definitely not an indication of a lack of intelligence, academic or otherwise. I just find it strange that it seems to happen here a lot, but I don’t see it so often on other social media platforms.

That said, I’m using social media less and less frequently these days, it’s just too depressing, so maybe I’m not seeing it elsewhere simply because I’m not looking.

This could be an interesting thread, there's loads of areas where it could lead. Handwriting (Mine is so bad that i can't even read it myself) Why are girls more likely to have massive handwriting? I'm reading this book at the moment, 'Four Kings' It's about Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard. Within a few paragraphs the author will reference about three or four people-A promoter, a Trainer, another Boxer, an opponent. I can't keep up with it, there's no way that i can remember all of those names in such a short passage.When i do come to reading about them again a few pages in, then i have to go back and re read the passage that originally told me who they were. Absolute nightmare. Anyone else have the same problem when reading books with loads of detail......like names....
