Within a few paragraphs the author will reference about three or four people-A promoter, a Trainer, another Boxer, an opponent. I can't keep up with it, there's no way that i can remember all of those names in such a short passage. When i do come to reading about them again a few pages in, then i have to go back and re read the passage that originally told me who they were. Absolute nightmare. Anyone else have the same problem when reading books with loads of detail......like names....
You don't want to miss anything. I have spells where I will re-read a sentence/paragraph really slowly again because whilst I've read something, it hasn't registered. Re. names, it's especially difficult as that's all you have - a name, no faces, voices etc. All to frequently I'll think 'who the hell's that' ?

Why don’t you go through all grammatical mistakes with a green pen going forward ?

You could then discuss how important you have been in a football message board at your next BBQ , I’m sure they will be well impressed with your self appointed position.

Going forward I’ll get my works secretary to proof read all my posts for grammatical errors if that makes you feel even more confident of you self appointed position on a football message board.

Perhaps leave it a few weeks until you have built up quite some momentum and tell your BBQ friends how you have achieved so much success correcting inferior posters . They will think you are so special and a worthy role model.
You never know they may even give you a hand such is your esteem in this field. I bet they will be so proud of you. Don’t forget to update your C.V while you’re at it.

Don't forget that swerve now. I wouldn't want you to prove a point too quickly!

Don’t forget to update your CV and tell your friends how special you are.

There should also be rules that ban people from posting at airports ,on sun beds whilst abroad , smart phones etc and pop ups should be banned to cut down on needless errors. Desk Top access only with an ergonomic device and chair with proof reading a requisite of membership

Apologies if I have upset you as you seem a bit stressed. Your mate Wales-Bales, in a couple of other threads, stuck up for himself because he was merely stating facts. Is that wrong now?

I don’t have any mates on this board and I missed what he said , and I’m taking the piss out of you , or don’t you get irony?

I'm pretty sure space before punctuation marks has arisen due to text speech. I have no idea why

                          Some examples:

Would Kieffer Moore have been a good signing ? Would he score goals in this team ?

Of course , he would have been a great signing ! He always scores goals !

Maybe , but the system this manager uses might not have suited him .

You must be joking , right ? He scores regularly at this level . We need a striker like him !

Some of my favourite posters do this, as do some of my least favourite. Some of the people I consider to be CCMB’s cleverest contributors do it, as do some of its stupidest.

Everyone who puts a space between a punctuation mark and the word that precedes it must read books, newspapers, magazines, other websites, etc. Therefore, they must surely notice the way they use punctuation marks differs from the way professional writers use them, but they continue to do it differently anyway. I find that strange and it’s something that has puzzled me for a long time.

I should point out that the incorrect use of punctuation marks doesn’t bother me as such. I just find it curious that so many posters on this board do it so regularly because I can’t say I’ve noticed it happening elsewhere on social media with such regularity.
It's a good point, I often do it at the the end of sentences with ? and !, I know it's wrong but it stands out more !

This is irrelevant to the space being introduced before a question mark but wasn't it the case that typists in the analogue era used to use two spaces after a full stop and before the next sentence was started?
