I wonder what he'd be worth - a couple of million tops? 1.5 million?
Good profit on the 50k initial investment.
This is his first real breakthrough season, so I'd be happy to keep him here and see whther he can develop further
Yeah, could make a good profit on him, but I agree, would prefer to keep him at the moment. Running out of time to replace anyone in this window when we already need to strengthen still.

If McGUinnes went for £10m, Tanner has to be worth £5m. He's a forward so they are alays pricier, he still very young, there are a few clubs interested, and he has a fair bit of contract left.

McGuiness had a lot more experience at this level - he was basically first choice for a couple of seasons and had played in league one.
Tanner has been a bit part player until very recently, and even then he's been in and out of the side.

They are all bigger clubs than little old Luton, if they really are interested it will be for a decent fee, not sure it's true mind.
I hope they deal with it well if it is bullshit so that it doesn't unsettle him.
“It’s brilliant for Aaron Ramsey. It’s nice to see him back on the pitch training.
Today was his first day back with the group. He’s got to complete full training and he’ll be down to play some U21 minutes. Hopefully after that we can reintroduce him.”
Him and Davies back would be like a few new players, for X long.

Tanner is not a regular first team player in a team teetering on relegation. He's not exactly hot property.
Maybe he's not. Maybe it's just an agent trying to make some money for himself and his client by putting him in the shop window, or maybe it's a bullshit rumor somebody "ITK" put on twitter that has been picked up and ran with.
WOW! I would be absolutely gutted if we let Tanner go for anything less than £10 million.
He is only 22 has been playing in a team that’s been on its uppers and still manages to produce moments of magic rarely seen in City teams over the past 10 years. I’m talking about taking down balls on a sixpence, going at defenders at pace and getting shots away. He also has developed a passable defensive game. People underestimate the fact that when he’s worrying full backs with his pace they are not so likely to be attacking our flanks. He is not the finished article but see age above.
Is he unpopular with some fans because of his Grealish look and not being local?
I’m genuinely excited by some of the young players coming through and look forward to seeing them become closer to the finished article. As well as the ex academy players we’ve got people like Tanner, the 2 Colwills, Robertson (21), Bagan (23) and now Salech (23) exactly what we were missing in the post Warnock era. If we start shipping these players out for pennies I for one might consider that worthy of a protest March.
PS I’m not Mr O Tanner Snr

4 goals and 4 assists in 67 games in all competitions, nobody's paying anywhere near £10m for him
