  • Harry Kane

Scored two tonight to make it 100 goals in 104 games, beating Ronaldo’s and Haaland record of 105 games (across the top 5 leagues).

He’s a monster and maybe doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Great footballer as well.

If he comes back to the premier league next season I think he takes shearers record.

      Flat track bully.

Even if he breaks Shearers record, Haaland will break Kanes.

Do you know what flat track bully actually means?
Haaland, whilst an absolute goal machine, who may well go on to be top premier league goalscorer of all time, has been playing with one of the best clubs in the world, that has players giving him rakes of opportunities.
Shearer and Kane did it playing for mediocre teams at the time in Spurs, Blackburn and Newcastle.
There is no flat track bully amongst those 3.

Mind you, Haaland has 48 goals in 45 games for Norway, hardly a giant nation in football terms. ‘Top Premier League all time scorer’ is a bit of an insult to top flight history. Shearer is 5th in that respect.

We aren’t discussing top flight history though. We’re discussing the Premier league.

I don't think he'll stay in the Premier League long enough to break the record, probably would if he did though

                  Re: Harry Kane

He's an exceptional player but at the same time he isn't viewed on the same level as others, and people struggle to point out what he is absolutely worldclass in terms of his gameplay. Obviously he IS world class but it's not always clear when you watch him why.

Nice guy off the pitch too

Since arriving at Bayern Munich, Kane has scored goals against the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea.

                    Flat track bully, though. Allegedly.

Top scorer in the 2018 Auto Windscreens Shield too.

*edit - I mean the FIFA world cup*

Mediocre teams :hehe: Blackburn bought the premier league and Newcastle were far from mediocre in the 90s. Silly man.

As pointed out Haaland is averaging nearly a goal a game for Norway, hardly a powerhouse of international.
Haaland has scored big goals in important games to win trophies. That’s where Kane falls down imo for both Spurs and England and latter stages of CL with Bayern. CL final with Spurs.etc etc

Besides, my point was more that people go on about Kane coming back so he can get the record but is it that big of a deal when itÂ’s likely
to be beaten by Haaland. If he does come back and break the record he might only have it for 3/4 years.

A penalty in 2 games against Real Madrid whilst getting knocked out of the Champions League last season. What a hero. Big game player. Always makes the difference in those big games.

You do seem to be slightly dismissive of someone breaking what it is a pretty amazing record tbh.

And as I said earlier, Kane is the kind of player who I struggle to pinpoint exactly what he is world class at, but his record speaks for itself. In reality I think he is very very good at every aspect of being a forward, even if at each individual discipline he is perhaps not the best.

                              Harry Kane - record-breaking goalscorer.

                              Fact.

Harry Kane - flat track bully.

Opinion, and a ludicrous one at that.

Robert Lewandowski is widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time. He scored his 100th Bundesliga goal on his 168th appearance, which is a league record for a foreign player. Kane is currently on 72 Bundesliga goals in 65 (+3) appearances. I suspect Lewandowski's record is under threat.
