Where has it been suggested that Harry Kane is not very good?

As you are aware, i don't watch much premier league football, and even less of the Budesliga. I watched Kane against us in the Premier league, and i have never seen a number 9 drop into midfield, with his back to goal, receive the ball, move it on and then spin off in the way he did. It was brilliant, albeit against us. A question i would ask his critics, How many top end teams wouldn't want Harry Kane playing for them? i would say that there wouldn't be many.

No one is saying he’s not a good player, I just said I think he’s a bit of a flat track bully and the usual suspects want to turn it into somethimg else. I just think he comes up short in the massive games. His record in the big games for club and country, semi finals and finals is not great. That’s what sets the likes of Ronaldo, Messi even our own Gareth Bale apart imo. I can think of stand out games where they have been the difference between two top sides, can’t think of too many where its been Kane. It’s great grabbing hat tricks against Holstein and Lejpzig in a league they win almost every year but I’m pretty sure Bayern would have signed him to be the difference in the latter stages of Champions League.

Anyway, its Saturday night mate. I’m having a beer. 👍🏻

I can't really argue with you because i've not seen enough of him to be honest, nor taken a great deal of interest in his stats in big games.

No-one had said he doesnt get goals, he obviously does, but he pads his goals against the lesser teams and international minnows more than any other top striker and imo hasn’t proven himself to be a big game winner.

He won’t be breaking any records for goals in semi finals and finals thats for sure. 5 in 25.
Okay fair enough, apologies, it wasn't clear 👍

Harry Kane has made history by becoming the first Englishman to reach 500 professional goals in official games:

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane became the first Englishman to reach 500 career goals on Saturday, but what other records could he break?
