    Wales squad
Goalkeepers: Karl Darlow (Leeds United), Adam Davies (Sheffield United), Tom King (Everton).

Defenders: Ben Cabango (Swansea City), Jay Dasilva (Coventry City), Ben Davies (Tottenham Hotspur), Ronan Kpakio (Cardiff City), Dylan Lawlor (Cardiff City), Chris Mepham (West Bromwich Albion), Joe Rodon (Leeds United), Neco Williams (Nottingham Forest).

Midfielders: Ethan Ampadu (Leeds United), David Brooks (Bournemouth), Jordan James (Stade Rennais), Aaron Ramsey (Pumas UNAM), Josh Sheehan (Bolton Wanderers), Sorba Thomas (Stoke City), Harry Wilson (Fulham), Joel Colwill (Cardiff City).

Forwards: Nathan Broadhead (Wrexham), Liam Cullen (Swansea City), Mark Harris (Oxford United), Lewis Koumas (Birmingham City - on loan from Liverpool), Daniel James (Leeds United), Brennan Johnson (Tottenham Hotspur), Kieffer Moore (Wrexham).
Forwards are poor too, James and Brennan are OK but we're so weak overall.

I'm convinced Rubin was one of the players who Bellers was accused of bullying. He's shown the consistency asked of him, and would clearly make that squad better.

Well done the 3 lads picked.

Sorry but I can't get enthusiastic about Wales in the same way as I do about City. The internationals are an irritation in the middle of the season and the only benefit from an international break is it allows injured players to recover. I'll watch Wales but not very often is it worth it.

Obviously it affects us negatively — while most teams can train, rotate, and rest their players, we have so many key players away. Those extra games really take their toll. Last year we lost Ramsey for the entire season, and this year alone we’ve lost Kapacio and Lawlor. Just as they’ve returned to fitness, they’re called away again.

Is it remotely possible that Rubin is simply not Bellamy's type of player? A number of managers haven't really known what to do with him. Perhaps Bellamy thinks it's a headache he doesn't need.

Obviously he has to be diplomatic in press conferences. He can't just say: "Rubin Colwill,? Nah, can't really see him fitting in with the tactics I want to employ."

He's taken a shine to Joel Colwill it seems. I'm not surprised.

Maybe then it's a case of Rubin choosing to make himself unavailable whilst Bellamy is in charge, rather than Bellamy not selecting him?

He can just say that though and save the trouble of being asked about it each time rather than coming out with the consistency stuff which leads to comment and people rightly pointing out that he's being a bit of a hypocrite

"We have a set way of how we'd like to play and unfortunately Rubin doesn't fit into that but I'm pleased to see him kicking on with Cardiff and hope he continues to progress. For the time being though he isn't in our plans".

i think people are reading too much into this.
rubin plays as an attacking midfielder, of which we have several options that are clearly ahead of him at the moment.
we are very light on numbers at centre midfield, but it's good to see Joel keeping his place even with Ramsey and Ampadu coming back.

I'm a massive fan of Rubin and I can't honestly say that I would definitely have picked him in these squads

How many times has he said this?

So you think Liam Cullen is ahead of him? LOL

At least once in the run up to the last international games.

What about consistency for Colwill in particular? I've not seen today's press conference reports but he said it last month and when he wasn't included in March off the top of my head. He's also talked about the general need to play regularly

I think the part of my reply you cut out would be a reasonably straightforward approach

Forget Liam Cullen, at least he regularly features for Swansea and has quite a lot of championship experience.

The real question is how much is Jason Koumas paying to have his son included? Has he actually done anything apart from disappoint for Stoke?

We've selected 7 wingers including one who hasn't scored a league goal for 10 months. I think there's a clear space for Colwill

Cullen isn't a starter for Swansea

                                Agree on Koumas
