    Re: Wales Squad

Unless Bellamy wants to completely ruin the player I hope he’s only brought Kpakio in for training purposes. He’ll get murdered against England and Belgium.

i don't think Rubin is an effective winger, he needs to play in an advanced central role.

The real question is how much is Jason Koumas paying to have his son included? Has he actually done anything apart from disappoint for Stoke?
Cullen plays in Colwills position. Koumas doesn’t.

            Re: Wales Squad

Im waiting to see how Bellamy reacts with a few dodgy results or getting dumped out of the World Cup.

Seemed to be wound up after losing to Canada.

Rubin hopefully doesn't let Bellamys rejection of him get to him.

Move players around then to include the best possible players. Problem solved.

Putting square pegs in round holes has never been a problem solver.

                    Agree on Koumas
But he does feature regularly for them.

He also scored 11 goals last season. Probably more than the vast majority of our (Wales) forwards can say for themselves.

I agree, I'm pointing our where we can easily trim the fat of the squad for an additional central player.

We aren't England who get to have conversations about not forcing all your best players into a team or squad for the benefit of a system. We have a wafer thin bordering on poor squad. You ram the square peg into round hole and make it work.

Yeah you're right we aren't, we have a near poor squad. Nations like ours should pick their best players and sort the rest out later.

Otherwise you end up with Lewis Koumas in the squad.

Does he? Not a rhetorical question, I honestly don't know if that's the case.

                            Cullen's Championship stats last season:

                            35 (+7) appearances, 11 goals

                            Colwill's Championship stats last season:

                            24 (+19) appearances, 1 goal

If they do play in the same position, it's not difficult to see how Cullen got ahead of Colwill in Bellamy's thinking.

I'm no fan of Cullen, but he doesn't deserve to be dropped for Wales

Similarly, Madueke ran rings around Neco Williams the other week in the Forest Arsenal game. Can't say I was disappointed when he got ruled out as that would have been a painful watch. Just Saka to deal with now instead 🫣
