The only bit of excitement on the last day of the season will be who goes down between West Ham and (as Jamie Carragher would say) Spares.
As long as Chelsea don't concede late on that is, currently Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham.
I still don't think it would have happened under a fully focussed Pep, something seemed off. They have been relentless in previous seasons when the finishing line was near. I wonder if he will take a break now, or has something else lined up?

      It's all a bit concerning, isn't it.

Face it, you’ve had a mare in this thread. It happens. Just a shame from your perspective that you kept bumping it.

Yes, Arteta looked stressed when Arsenal were dropping lots of crucial points, and now we know that Pep also had things on his mind. The old Pep would have gone for the jugular when Arsenal faltered. Anything else?

It's just football and you have to be 100% in the zone at all times, and the margins are very fine at the top level.

              Could be

Perhaps Pep knows something we don't regarding the club's misdemeanours.
Now that would be something worth celebrating.

Something is amiss in the blue half of Manchester.

I’m going to a family party in Narf London on Friday. My 6 female cousins are all lifeline Arse supporters and several have family ST.

                  Should be a joyous party

I did think Man City would win it when they beat Arsenal; it was a tough season for all, and pretty tight until the end. It's good for a new club to win it for a change, well done Arsenal. Looking forward to next season in the Championship and watching the Premier League, it looks wide open and so many managerial changes.

Will you miss League One football?

Only a gap of seven points in the end. Arsenal finished with a point more than last year’s champions. Not bad for bottlers.

Quite right. Pep definitely wouldn't have wanted to go out with a bang. He's not that kind of bloke. That's why he only picked two trophies this season.

I heard he couldn't wait to get out before the hammer drops.
