Poor old cows getting the blame. A cow produces around 100KG of methane a year. Methane is about 20 x more harmful to the environment than CO2. So a cow produces 2 ton equivalent of CO2 annually.
An average size dog, a family pet, produces about 1 ton of CO2 annually. So two dogs do the same environmental damage as one cow.

A cow gives us meat, milk, and leather. A dog gives us friendship.

Additionally dogs tend to be fed commercial food, which has an environmental cost, whilst cows eat mainly natural food.

If one had to go, which one?

Isnt it that a dog doesnt produce 1 ton of co2 itself, but it's as a result of producing the food the dog consumes (a lot of cows)?
So people should either ditch their dogs, or change their dogs diet to one which produces less co2.

Why should we listen to the views of someone who has been discredited?

and I've just read a person in the UK produces the equivalent of 8.34 tonnes of CO2 per year

                Oh, easy.
It’ll be your cow or your dog, not Attenburgh’s or Gates’.
It’ll be the cow which gives you milk and meat cheaply for your family which will help you to starve and reduce the world’s population to a manageable, profitable and obedient level.
There’ll be enough left for rich socialists and politicians to dine regularly on fillet steak whilst jetting round on their private aircraft.

I’m sure you can trust them about this whole thing and we must all make sacrifices to stop the planet dying from nature. Well ,not all of us obviously- not the people who invented and enforce it.

Nice to see Gluey is still a ****ing dope. No one invented global warming and it certainly wasn’t anything to do with David Attenborough.

As usual with deluded conspiracy theorists though he’s so close to hitting the point it’s painful. It isn’t only the consumers who need to make a change it’s the massive corporations who are making billions off this. Not the latest conspiracy bogeyman he’s reading about on Facebook.

No stranger than the realistic concern that we will start the season with a string of 5-0 defeats. Not sure who posted that though......
