Whilst the middle order looks settled and relatively strong, the failure to recruit an opener batsman will probably mean they're exposed to the new ball far too often.Comment

Leicestershire an untroubled 99-1, dunno how the ice hockey are doing, so apologies for this if I’m not being fair to them, but why are all the professional sports sides based in Cardiff so bad?Comment

Im expecting Cardiff rugby to beat Connacht tonight and get into the quarters, then do ospreys and Munster to finish top 8 in the URC. Mind you, we could quite easily lose them all and end up having had a porridge season.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View Post

The city failed to score in a must win game and remain in bottom 3. Cardiff lost to Connaught for the 3rd time this season and are out of Europe. I felt the same about the uni game. Glammy top 5 need a big day today - assuming they can ever bowl leics out - otherwise this could be a big, humiliating defeat to start the season against one of the weaker, although admittedly improving, counties over the last few seasons. If our bowlers are feeling down, at least they can take heart they're not playing for Worcestershire. Reduced Somerset to 39/3 and 140/4. Unfortunately for them the next wicket fell with over 500 on the board. Tom Banton currently not out on 357Comment
