Lancs may not even declare and look to rack up some batting bonus points. If they do declare it will probably be at tea when they are over 200 ahead leaving Middlesex to bat out for the draw. No way Middx win from here.

The only way Middlesex win is a very contrived finish, but the longer lancs bat on the more unlikely this is. You would have thought that if there was a contrived finish planned then lancs would have declared overnight. So could this actually be our day……
