Next match: Pre-season. Saturday, July 11th | FC Midtjylland (H) @ Cardiff City Stadium, 12:30pm -
All pre-season fixtures
There was a discussion about Morgan Wigley on here last week, well he’s been the difference maker so far today with a nice finish for the first goal and a fine run and cross to set up Baylin Johnson for the second one.
Finished 2-0, don’t know anything about the Fleetwood team, but they were bigger than us in most areas of the pitch, so that suggests they were older than us - a good win considering we had so many “first teamers” missing.
The under 21s in action again today at Birmingham, doubt it if the game is being streamed - fair play to City, there are very few other clubs that offer free streams of their under 21 matches like we do.

Definitely.
It seems such a low cost way to get some interest into the players coming through, a number of which we have seen make the first team in recent seasons.
The last game was quite basic coverage, which in itself is fine but usually to be fair they have great coverage with a couple of commentators, one of which has even done some research on the opposition team.

No Lawlor, Kpakio, Beecher, Reindorf and Davies T in the line-up for Birmingham. Possible loans/first team involvement/injury?
Kpakio and Reindorf started Wednesday, not sure they would be involved following that. I'd hope both were around the first team squad a bit more this season. Reindorf may have to be if we don't sign another striker.
A 2-2 draw for the u-18s today. Two down at half time but Sheffield United had a player sent off on the hour and we equalised in the 91st minute through Jake Davies (Leeyon Phelan had scored our first in the 78th). Dan Ola then hit the bar four minutes into injury time before Jake Davies won a penalty two minutes later but Mannie Barton had his shot saved. I went to the wrong game today.
A nice goal for our third but, while credit is due for the opportunism of the other three, I wouldn't have fancied the video analysis session if I was one of Birmingham's left-sided defensive unit.

They certainly weren't happy with the first goal
It looked like Spiers couldn't quite believe the amount of time he had for the winner
Luey Giles was training with the Wales seniors today apparently
He looks decent, from what i have seen. I know it's the wrong thread, but i did like the look of Eli king against Bristol Rovers. He did make some poor long range passes, but i put that down to wanting it a bit too much. What impressed me was his urgency, he wanted the ball, looked to play quickly. I haven't seen him like others have, but there could be something to work with.
