The good thing is they were stopped in Wales
Completely agree, it is absolutely crazy.

I think Reform voters come down to two types of people. Those stupid enough that they fall for the rhetoric and the main stream media narrative pushed by rich men that it will heavily benefit for reform to be successful. They fall for the tales of those coming into the country are to blame for years of mismanagement and a capitalist culture. Division, hatred and inequality summed up and they don’t bother looking into anything as it’s not pushed in the media.

Then you’ve got the semi active ones (like in this thread) that are fully aware and simply do not care. They’re happy to (at best) look past the racist comments and at worst would agree, they’re happy to make the UK and Wales a worse place and a more intimidating place for so many minorities. They’re happy to enable thugs who want to threaten people across England putting their flags of division up on streets and lampposts to intimidate people. In the hope it improves their bitter and twisted lives slightly as they’ve fallen into the rabbit hole of blaming everything wrong in their lives on immigrants, the vast majority who will contribute to the country and provide services they would never. The other ones where the majority have faced the type of hardship in life that makes them risk their life on a small boat for a small chance of a better life.

I have some sympathy for the former as you have a lot of stupid people that are disengaged but the latter are a disgrace in my opinion. They hide behind blanket statements and the odd referral to another policy they can’t even support to avoid revealing their genuine thoughts on why they’re voting for a party that does little to hide what they’re really about.

Is a party more racist for having a single member suggest melting nigerians (which is clearly nonsense and would never work) or continually invading and subjugating countries populated by dark-skinned people and killing them en masse?

If you believe that it is the former then you are even more thick and deluded than the Reformers you revile.

What a reach. Nothing like a bit of whataboutery to try and make yourself feel better.

It will be interesting to see what position that reform councillor is promoted to. Maybe keep in reserve until the GE and then he can become some sort of ambassador.

You have to applaud the outside the box thinking to fixing the pothole crisis and well anyone quick and fit enough to catch a Nigerian is surely fit for office.

Not sure that's a great line to follow considering the current government swerved direct involvement in bombing Iran and Farage was all in on it initially..

This really does not happen with the UK medical insurance market. The vast majority of non NHS medical care is provided by BUPA and Nuffield, both are not for profit, and both given excellent customer service and care. Making a claim with either is very simple and there is no attempt to exclude care.

Not every non-state system is like the US system.

                        HEALTHCARE

                        Save our NHS

The Welsh NHS is failing patients and staff in almost every respect under
Labour, delivering some of the worst outcomes in the UK. The Welsh
NHS suffers from stubbornly high waiting lists, poor A&E performance,
inadequate cancer care and an ambulance service struggling to reach
patients. Approximately 1 in 4 people in Wales are waiting for an
                        appointment or treatment.

We will keep the NHS free at the point of use whilst making the changes
necessary to fix the current broken system. Hospitals are struggling with red
tape, GPs are overstretched, and the most vulnerable, including children and
the elderly, are left waiting for care they desperately need. This must change.
Our NHS is being failed by inflexible structures, bad governance, poor
leadership, and a fundamental lack of accountability.

                        A Plaid Government
will put patient outcomes at the heart of our healthcare policy. We will
reprioritise funding within the existing healthcare budget to deliver better
outcomes, including putting a greater focus on prevention to ease long term
pressures on the health system. The people of Wales deserve better from
their NHS and we will deliver that
all of that is a "what" but it doesn't say "how" or "when", which is really what is important

They are both not for profit organisations that provide excellent healthcare, with any surplus of premium over costs being reinvested back into health. There are no shareholders of either, and they exist for their members (a bit like unions)
