  • Re: Another random attack on British jews

    Geez.

A bunch of "snowflakes" arguing whether a stretch of mostly desert should be referred to as Canaan or Palestine when talking about artefacts from 3000 years ago and energised enough to look stupid as a result! Regardless of pressure, Jewish lawyers or some kind of protest group.

What were they planning to chant when the lecture started?

" From the River to the Sea, It was called Palestine not Canaan in 1000 BC"?

No idea what they planned, Cyril.

      If they planned anything.

I would not turn up at the British Museum to protest about them caving to a lobby group.

There are better ways to fight that fight.

But I doubt that any planned protest was against the Jewish Culture Month, or that Jewish people were the target. I suspect that the BM and UKLFI were the target and the issue was the erasure of Palestine and Palestinians.

I may be wrong - but as far as I can see no other events have been affected by what the media, Kemi B and the Israeli advocacy groups claim to be anti-Jewish hatred.

If I am right there is a high probability that Jewish people would be amongst the protestors.

Kemi lkes to take any and every opportunity to insist Jewish hatred is everywhere, thereby inflaming the issue.

Seems to me that, if you have a just cause, and the people caring about the plight of the general Palestinian population, definitely do. Then you need strong voices with strategic skills to both drive that message and get the troops on message.

It seems to me that the pro-Palestinian, anti-Zionist activists have none of that. More fragmented than a Life of Brian sketch. So you just end up with these student common room gestures that achieve nothing and give easy propaganda victories to the very people who wish you ill.
