She is wrong but she is partial.

The "lack of solidarity" she speaks of may be because people are fed up of the partiality of it all. Starmer's action against universities is yet another example. By treating anti Semitism as something "special" and holding it up as somehow more precious than other forms of prejudice and discrimination there will be less support, not more. Trying to gag or even ban marches of outrage against genocide in favour of a select few will harden opinion even more.

This Government, and the Tories, are wrong headed and, as I've mentioned previously, are central to the source of the problem.

Watch this breaking report and tell me where it mentions the following FACTS:

- this ‘Nelson Street Synagogue’ ceased
regular worship in early 2020
- in February 2026 the building was purchased and is currently owned by the Ashaadibi Education & Cultural Centre (a local Muslim group).
- the group is actively raising funds for completion and upgrades to turn the building into a mosque, community hub, and education centre.

I expected a bit more balance from you on this one James. Calling them "borderline conspiratorial" is straight out of the far right playbook.

I note MBFC suggests DDN has a "Left Bias" without challenging any claims. Reading through your link, apart from general accusations, it seems MBFC reaches its conclusion by listing names on DFN's "People" page as, inter alia, Jeremy Corbyn, Gary Younge, George Monbiot, Yannis Varoufakis and Naomi Klein.

Presumably if the names of Donald Trump, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, Adolf Hitler and Genghis Khan don't appear then the content is biased to the left wing.

It's funny, the report highlights just about everything I think about these latest incidents and the sinister Government manipulation of them.

Sludge is right about Phillips: he's a patsy whose taken the King's shilling and spouts garbage.
