Shipping container pre Brexit £3k post 14k

Mariella on #BBCBreakfast @BBCNews my new favourite. Real Ferris Bueller energy when she breaks the fourth wall to say “because it’s NOTHING to do with #brexit” . BBC producer almost audible in reporter’s ear “RUN, RUN, find a Brexit supporter to talk to!” #inflation https://t.co/ooNwOxK172

    What an absolute disaster.

Stop being a gloomster. Boris will strike a trade deal with the Yanks and everything will be absolutely spiffing.

This farmer clearly thinks brexit's to blame for the problems with his business, and claims it's usually edited out whenever he mentions the B word.

                    Brexit in four stages:

                    Things will be better.
                    Things won’t be *that* bad.
Things are bad but it’s not our fault.
Things are awful but that was the plan.

I thought rejoiners liked tariff free trade deals? That's the supposed benefit of being in the single market with all those other nations right? Or is it only good when it refers to the EU?

Thank god twitter is nothing like the real world. Taking your news from it is rarely wise.

not all free trade deals are equal
the EU free trade agreement was a lot better for us as a nation than this deal with new Zealand or the one with Australia.
we don't seem to get anything much out of it, other than being able to say look at all these deals we are signing.
