Saying that its a one off game and hes got us challenging and in a position to qualify and deserves to lead us into the Euro campaign. He can only do so much with these players.

I think it is what it is, after the first 20 quite clear we wouldn't be putting 6 on them and so just win the game to mean we don't have to also worry about goal difference when trying to beat Macedonia.

It wasn't a good performance in a lot of ways but even if we had won 3 or 4 nil nobody would have necessarily thought it was either.

So stupid to get the two suspensions. James' a ridiculous challenge given the looming suspension and the players behind the ball. Ampadu's as he probably should have been subbed off to not give the ref the chance of a poor yellow.

When you haven't got a plethora of talent throughout the squad, the managers job is to make the team greater than the sum of its individual parts. Not sure at the moment if Bellamy is achieving that with any consistency. Not sure anyone could with the current squad to be honest.
Still, finishing 2nd in this group would be a decent achievement with North Macedonia probably performing above many people's expectations.
