I thought you knew about these things when you said it seems like something that shouldn't take long to resolve.

I'm just going on what's been said on here and on the EFL site - the site says that an Embargo is immediately removed once the reasons for applying it have been resolved.

The club has said there are no issues with the accounts they just need to be sent to the EFL.

taking that at face value it doesn't seem a big deal - but I guess we will see in due time.

I honestly don't think this embargo is any big deal as I'll be surprised if the club makes any signings of note in this window regardless of the circumstances.

However, it's amusing to read back through this thread and see that certain individuals were claiming either there was no embargo in the first place or it would have all been sorted out by Monday morning. That went well.

I also think the Trust's statement was poorly-worded. Unfortunately, the Trust's board sounded like club apologists once again.

The Trust statement was perfectly worded and factually accurate as it turned out. Much to the dismay of some of the regulars who frequent this site

The other board indicating it will be next week now (I know it is the other board but hey ho🤔) lack of information from the club means the gap will be filled by information from elsewhere as always
