1991, there’s plenty of stats regarding yesterday’s win here.

Just come across this from 1981 (the cricket starts after a few minutes of speed boat racing). Abergavenny’s a lovely ground, but it had changed a fair bit when I went there three or four times in the 90s - the houses seem much closer to the ground than I remember them being.

Glamorgan tie their warm up T20 game at Wiltshire - 165-7 plays 165-7. The stream packed up then, so didn’t get to see the super over which, according to Glamorgan’s Twitter page, was won by some “Don Dowthwaite heroics” with the bat.

          Well done Don!

Some interesting results . Surrey beaten easily by Somerset, shocking score of 146/9 from Surrey despite Jason Roy bashing 92 off 54. Hampshire beating Essex by 106 runs, 230 beating 124 all out.

England’s fielding very shoddy at Cardiff today, four dropped catches and a couple of easy run outs missed - they’re going to be chasing 300 plus.

Glamorgan starting at 4 in their first T20 match at Middlesex who, apparently have the worst record at first class level in this form of cricket in the world.

Really like the look of the Glamorgan side. 6 good bowling options, and we bat all the way to 11.

Middlesex 124-9 off their 20 overs on a pitch which Glamorgan’s women’s team were bowled out for 77 earlier today and Middlesex hardly found it easy going as yhey lost six wickets in knocking off the runs, so batting’s not easy and a win isn’t inevitable for us.

Three of the top five out or ducks for England who are relying very much on Joe Root at Cardiff.

Cracking partnership. Easily the best of the day with 8 sixes between them. Good start.

I thought the fielding was outstanding today. In the end a comfortable win. Good start.

Another excellent fielding performance. Douthwaite's bowling is so much better. Much more consistent and much less short and wide stuff.
