    Gym is open.

Dog is happy to go for a walk...although she'd probably go DURING the storm so..

The irony of broadcasters putting reporters in dangerous places to tell us not to make an non-essential journeys, isn't lost on me either.

What would need to happen for you to think those decisions were justified? A neighbours trampoline landing in your garden maybe?

..or a barbecue ? I'd think if a barbecue were to land in my garden I'd be very concerned.

Or a trampoline on the railway line - Storm Dudley: Cardiff trains delayed by trampoline on tracks
Storm Dudley also causes power cuts and trees to fall, with things expected to worsen by Friday.

                      Always makes me laugh.

I think in some situations it's important to bring coverage and attention, war torn countries etc, but a camera would offer just as much as some reporter there in a coat.

This morning on BBC they said something like "There are warnings not to travel unless essential. Keep up with our coverage of the weather through the day, we have reporters all around the country"

There are two scaffolds up in my street. They are currently both working - one of them is doing a spray render, the other is doing the timber work for a dormer.

Not sure I'd want either jobs being done on my house in this sort of weather.

These same reporters were asking for more restrictions during the pandemic, it’s ok for them as they can work through and not be affected by loss of income etc
