I don't go along with all this hype about these two. Yes, they have had good moments and Colwill v Nottingham Forest was an agent's video collection item. But:
Colwill - he is big - he should be bullying his way against the opposition - he does not, is easily knocked off the ball. He has no real pace nor aerial threat....He does not tackle well....he is not aggressive enough...i He CAN see a pass but not THAT often. Needs to up his game at his age....
Davies - an exciting player at times, BUT, after a long injury, what is his confidence going to be like? Will his pace have diminished???
I hope I am wrong, but after watching City since 1958 and seeing many youngsters come through (and many fail...), I am not yet convinced they are the messiahs...
