If I hadn't mistyped Christmas Corbyn as a "wife old owl" (wonderful image that is) and correctly labelled him a "wise old owl" then i guess he could have offered sage advice to Polanski..?

        Corbyn elected leader.

"the many" faction won 14-10 against "grassroots left".

Personally I don't see Zara Sultana hanging around all that long?

BBC says they won 14 out of 24, seems it was 14-8, so we are both a bit wrong. Solidarity ✊

14 for the Corbyn slate; 7 for the Sultana slate; 3 independents.

Corbyn becomes Parliamentary leader of Your Party.

Over 40,000 members eligible to vote. Over 60% did.

Compared to the 800,000+ who initially registered an interest in the new party that shows the impact of disorganisation, infighting and the rise of the Greens under Polanski as a viable left/progressive option.

Corbyn says Your Party will work with the Greens to avoid splitting the left vote. Any remaining disillusioned Labour supporters welcome.

Great result for the Greens and the UK last night!

The fact Corbyn plans to coordinate with the Greens is a welcome strategy and offers hope for future campaigns, including the big one. I hope the Greens reciprocate and I do hope Your Party can finally get it's act together robustly and quickly.

I was very disappointed with Starmer's reaction to the result last night and I believe under his leadership they will gradually recede into the sunset. I know it's early days but I thought he would change his tack after the departure of Morgan McSweeney but sadly that seems to be a pipe dream. Surely someone must grab him by the collar and clearly explain he is employing the wrong strategy and faces the haemorrhage of left leaning supporters. He can never "out Reform" Reform so why chase a chimera?

Certainly a great result for the greens

Not for the UK though in my opinion.

And if Corbyn can't even organise his own party, how will he establish a good working relationship with the Greens.

Who as things stand will probably swallow up Your Party anyway.0

It's certainly a better result for the UK than if Reform had won. Therein lies the path to the inferno.

Fortunately the younger generation are generally keen on the Greens so I'm hopeful we can avoid the worst political outcome longer term
