When it comes to pious nonsense there is a strange double act emerging in this thread. Sludge and James - the Ed Davey and Nigel Farage of the board creating a dogs breakfast of populist centralism and getting both confused and triggered by any reference to principled progressive politics (now to be known as 'Radical Leftism' in tribute to Trump).

Not seen anything like it since Tony Benn and William Hague went on tour with a flask of tea, tea mugs and one pipe!

Why do I need to suck that? I voted Green in 2024 and will do so in 2029. I was one of the 800,000 who initially signed up but when Corbyn and Sultana started threatening legal action against each other on social media they lost me.

The piety is from Pearcy (and of course yourself) in such dedication to your own political religion that any story is turned on its head to be about something that you want it to be. In this case a scandal about the right/left battle Labour Party and how Corbyn was held back. I see you have now also decided to bring in a Canary article that is surprise surprise about Israel.

It's not just a political drama, it's a crime scene and Pearcy talking about "loving this" and you now using it to make political points is unsavoury in my opinion. Nothing pious about that, just pointing out you both sound odd.
