Yes of course it is a guess. I haven't seen the contract between AR and CCFC. So I am going for £25kpw but I am happy to be corrected if someone knows better

He's not really out of contract, it'll go to a tribunal. They'll still get a decent fee. Kyprianou on the other hand will leave for nothing.

In the case of RJJ, not if he goes overseas (Wasn't a German team also linked?). Peterborough will have to consider that.

Sounds fair money for him. I like that we are targeting players like Jones & Kyprianou. Signing the best 22-23 year olds from the League below for notable fees makes a whole lot of sense.

I know Daland, Fish & Simic haven't yet proved to be successes, but they and Robertson are the sort of players that we should be signing. It's just a pity that we don't have a core of good older, more experienced players performing at a standard that lets them blend in at appropriate rate.

But a rare bit of common sense, it would appear, with our transfer policy after 12 years of chaos and stupidity

This is a weird article. Apparently his signing would re-ignite our promotion campaign (I'll take that thought with me tonight)! Also their appears to be very detailed quotes about the player that I haven't seen anywhere else. Furthermore, the suggestion is that the bid was £5m!!!!

The reports I read suggested Forest were looking to sell him as opposed to loan him, so I suspect this one would be a late deal if it was to happen at all.

Yeah I think they've been trying to sell him in the last few windows, but without much luck.
I don't think his last couple of loan moves have set the world alight, although he's got a decent enough record in the championship.

Probably an effect of Forest's policy of bringing in huge numbers of players on promotion, you'll end up with a few on the books that you can't move on easily.

Is Jones the best? Sounds like Peterborough fans cant wait to get rid of him. Doesn't sound like the best to me.
