Play tonight at 8 against the Argies. Hadn't heard anything about it. If anyone's interested. On sky and s4c apparently

Love the Lions. Great first half, back and forth. Lions playing some nice stuff at times and will only get better.

Looking a bit shaky defensively though

England with a small token gesture of the other nations. No thanks.

Never understood the concept of the ‘lions’ it’s an artificial, made up team to cater for the desperate and needy isn’t it?

I got more time for Soccer Aids, which at least helps good causes.

Must. admit my interest in this tour is limited by, first, it being to Australia and, second, it’s, effectively the English, Scottish and Irish Lions.

Williams made a big impact when he came on, must have put himself forward for a Test start.

Bob, Lions tours are usually to the Southern hemisphere countries anyway, so nothing new there.

As for your second point - both the Scots, and the Irish, suffered similarly in years gone by. We Welsh never complained in the past when nearly 60% of a test side was made up of players from Wales.

Australia is probably the least appealing of the 3 tours but it's still a Lions tour which will build nicely to the tests.
Whilst Wales' representation may be limited, there's likely to be several replacements needed, so we could end up with more.
Scotland had a total of 5 initial squad members over the 2013 and 2017 tours.

I bet there's only been one series when the Test side has been made up of nearly 60% Welshmen in 100 years.

                            The last tour of Australia.

I'm a big rugby fan, love the domestic and international game, but I must admit I don't feel much for the Lions and never have. I appreciate the epic intensity of the tours, and I do enjoy watching them but the overriding thing for me is that four countries coming together to beat one isn't that much of a victory.

I am far more supportive of Wales in the RWC than the Lions in that sense.
